Quonset Point Airbase – North Kingstown, RI
End of Summer Days Event & Drift Clinic: September 14th, 2019
Whether you’re a first-time drifter, somewhat experienced or looking for a place to practice your Skids or test and tune your car, you can do it all here! We’ll start the day with drills for the first timers and there will be a course at the far end set up for the more experienced drifters. Multiple courses and drills set up throughout the day from transitions to holding Skids for longer corners there will be something set up for you.
In one section of this 2 mile long event the C group and B group can work on refining their skills. In another section of the tarmac: a gymkhana box to play in if you guys want to set it up. In the final 1/3 of the tarmac we can create a multitude of high speed courses for A group drivers where tandem trains are welcomed if you have a cage, and the proper safety equipment.
Instructors are available throughout the day.
If you’re an A or B group driver there is plenty of room to practice and skid! We’ll toss you some cones and you guys can go play if you don’t want to do the drills in C group.
The gates will close at 9:20 sharp. We won’t know you are there after 9:20. This is a closed air base and we have to escort you into the base per airport policy. This isn’t because we want to be difficult it’s just the lay of the land.
